Rep. Charlie Denison says that a top priority is giving our children the best education they can acquire anywhere. Because there are no second-class children in the 135th District, there should be no second-class schools!  Our teachers and principals have done amazing work under difficult circumstances, and it is the job of the state government to work with, not against these dedicated educators. 

We all have a common goal: providing a safe environment for our kids to learn in. As your State Representative, Representative Denison has and will continue to work hard to see that our schools are fully funded and that teachers have the tools that they need to teach our children.

Representative Denison has worked with the local P.T.A as well as with school principals in the district.  His work with the local school district helped promote special funding for Springfield Schools.

Representative Denison feels that he has helped reverse the business-unfriendly trend in Missouri that was causing many businesses to leave the State. In the past, he received the “100% for Jobs” Award from the Missouri Chamber of Commerce for his work.

These are unusally difficult times for workers and businesses, and Representative Denison believes he is well suited for the task. As a former small business owner, Representative Denison understands the difficulties that government can create.

Representative Denison recognizes the importance of a good educational system and training programs to help create the kind of work force that will encourage business to locate and operate in Missouri.

Representative Denison has no trouble standing up for families and family values. Long before entering public life, Rep. Denison believed in the sanctity of life and traditional family values. He grew up in a rural farming community, and he embraces the work ethics and morals we typically associate with that lifestyle.

Charlie and Daryl have been married for many years, and they raised and educated their children in Springfield. They have worshipped at the same church, Second Baptist, for almost 30 years. Representative Denison hasn't just preached about family values and ethics, he's lived that way.

As a fiscal conservative, Charlie continually fights for low taxes and against wasteful government spending.  Included in Charlie’s value system is that he represents all his district’s constituents. He is committed to promotion of a pro-business environment, and he understands that education is the driving force of our economy!
